National Apprenticeship Week 2026

In partnership with Blenheim Palace, we are aimimg to train more than 100 apprentices by the end of 2027.

The progress comes as the UK marks National Apprenticeship Week, which runs from February 9 to 15.

Dominic Hare, chief executive of Blenheim Palace, said: "When we set ourselves the goal of training over 100 new apprentices, it wasn’t just about hitting a number – it was about creating real opportunities for people to grow, learn, and build meaningful careers.

"I couldn’t be prouder of the drive, creativity, and fresh perspectives our apprentices bring to Blenheim every day.

"Their impact goes far beyond the estate; they’re shaping their futures and making a genuine difference in the wider world."

Since 2017, Blenheim has completed 84 apprenticeships across its Palace, Estate, and Property businesses, with 23 apprentices currently on site.

These apprentices are gaining experience in fields such as gardening, accountancy, construction and collections.

Megan Carter, people and engagement director at Blenheim Palace, said: "As we approach almost completion of the goal of 100 apprenticeships, I want to highlight not just the achievements of our 84 completed apprentices, but also the incredible people behind their success.

"Our dedicated managers, team members and coaches who have played a vital role in nurturing talent and fostering an environment where diverse skills and perspectives can thrive. At Blenheim Palace and Pye Homes, we are committed to growing our own talent, changing lives, and enriching our organisation in the process."

Ms Carter added that each apprentice brings unique insights to help build a 'stronger, more innovative team, ready to face the challenges of the future'.

In 2017, Blenheim Palace and Pye Homes set out 10 goals for the next decade, including becoming a Top 100 UK employer, building affordable homes for 300 families, and becoming a net generator of green energy.
