Church Farm fits the bill
We wanted to find a high quality new build in a thriving and friendly community, and quickly realised that Church Farm in Radley fit the bill.
Tom and his wife, Jessica, moved into one of the our Church Farm properties in October 2022 and have not looked back. With the community's ethos reflecting a lot of their own values, not to mention, a plethora of incredible features, the couple explain that it only felt natural to choose to buy with us.
When asked about what drew the couple to Church Farm, they commented,
“We were attracted to Church Farm because of its focus on sustainability, use of local materials and the fact that the houses blend in so beautifully with the natural environment. We wanted to find a high quality new build in a thriving and friendly community, and quickly realised that Church Farm in Radley fit the bill. From the village shop and the church to the local pub and Radley lakes, all of the leisure and community activities you might want to indulge in are right on your doorstep.”
They added, “We also liked that Church Farm is located within walking distance of a station with good links into Oxford, Birmingham and London; this was important as I commute into London most days. Having Abingdon town nearby was also a draw for us.”
Church Farm is well known for its sustainable values and ethos. Tom expressed that the focus on nature and the environment was hugely attractive to him along with the eco conscious and money saving features. The houses are equipped with solar panels and air source heat pumps, and there are even tunnels for wildlife such as badgers.
We asked the couple what it is about the area and their new home that they most love, and they replied,
“We love the sense of togetherness in Radley. There is a community team in Radley dedicated to helping new residents settle and make friends. We are very grateful to this team as we now have dozens of good friends. We have taken part in "Radley rambles" and breakfast clubs and regularly go to the local pub with our new friends.”
Tom added, “On a personal note, I love being able to walk to Radley Golf Course for a quick round and my wife enjoys being a member at Radley gym where she can swim, use the gym and participate in a variety of classes. Having all of this in walking distance is something we could not have imagined when we were looking to move. In terms of the house, the finish is of a very high quality for a new build and we like our house being over three floors. We were very happy with the quality of the options available for finishing the house, including tiling, flooring and our lovely kitchen.”
When describing the buying and moving process with us, Tom expressed that the process was very straightforward and the team were extremely helpful and professional from start to finish. The couple enjoyed watching the progress of their house being built over an eight month period between exchange and completion.
