The Roches.

The Roches is a three-bedroom, semi-detached home located in Welborne Garden Village.It is a beautiful home crafted with families at the heart of it. 

The name "Roches" originates from Peter Des Roches, who served as the Bishop of Winchester from 1205 to 1235. Des Roches played a significant role in political affairs during his reign and maintained a strong relationship with King Henry III. He is also known for building Roche Court, which is now called The Boundary Oak School, located just down the road from Welborne. 

 

One of his most famous nicknames is the "Bishop Butterfly". There are many theories behind this title, but the most common story is that he was once given a butterfly and carried it with him to important meetings and negotiations.

 

Butterflies have held many symbolic meanings throughout history, including new beginnings, transformation, and hope. They are also known to represent fresh starts and you may notice them in our coming soon adverts.

 

The Roches is a beautiful three-bedroom house and could be a fresh start for you.
