Mark Forsyth, Site Manager at Pye Homes, Shares His Experiences

Each month, we hear from someone who works for our company to explain more about their role, the ins and outs of their daily job, achievements they’re proud of, and what they like about working for Pye Homes.

This month, we spoke to Mark Forsyth, the site manager for our latest community in Marcham, Temple Gate.

What are your main duties as site manager ?

My main duties on-site are being the face of Pye homes on-site for contractors and home purchasers. I am responsible for running the day-to-day construction of the houses at Marcham and coordinating with the various trades that we have on-site, along with keeping an eye on Health and Safety.

How long have you been working for Pye? What do you like about the company?

I have worked directly for Pye for two and a half years now. Prior to working for Pye, I was Long Hanborough’s NHBC building inspector for two years. The experience in my previous role gives me a unique, outsider’s perspective and insight into the level of detail and quality of a Pye home, and it was precisely their quality and finish, that led me to join the company, along with the long-standing reputation that Pye have in the local area, long may it continue!

Is there anything that you’ve worked on that you’re particularly proud of?

I am proud of the houses we produced at Long Hanborough and the team on-site (both contractors and management) that worked tirelessly to produce a fantastic product for the homeowners. This showed in the number of happy and appreciative customers that I have spoken to whilst on site.
